Executive Assistant to Brand Director

Pink Jambu is a specialist retail and design house in Malaysian heritage textiles. We specialise in the production of one-of-a-kind batik and is the sole retailer of Cheminahsayang, the finest Royal Pahang Weave silks (aka Tenun Pahang Diraja).

POSITION

Pink Jambu is looking for an Executive Assistant to the Brand Director. You will answer directly to the CEO and Brand Director, as well as work within our small, dynamic team.

As the EA to the Brand Director, you will have an excellent insight into the inner workings of a small luxury textile company. Working as the pivot point between design, production, sales and press, your daily job will cross between creative and administrative duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Brand Director in organising collections and sales events.
  • Copywriting – Draft basic emails and communication releases.
  • Communicate with external suppliers such as clients, suppliers and partners.
  • Become the main contact point between the CEO & Brand Director with the rest of the team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree of equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in related industries.
  • Proficient written and verbal command of English language.
  • Basic verbal command of Malay language.
  • Have a basic understanding of social media and use of a computer.
  • Design skills (moodboarding, Adobe suite) is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Organisation skills (Microsoft Excel for example) is a plus but not a requirement.
  • High level organisational skills.
  • Be willing to learn.
  • Strong ability to communicate and work in a team environment.
  • Have an appreciation for arts, craft and fashion.

Remuneration: RM3,000 – RM4,500 (negotiable)
Location: Tasik Perdana, Kuala Lumpur
